Chpt 3:
Tim Mai & The 1-Hr Workweek for Pre-Foreclosure Investors

Shortly before the Virtual Investing Seminar, I received an urgent email from a very successful investor out of Houston and although we were close to capacity for the training, he begged me to let him attend. To make sure he was the right type of person to be at the event, I called him up to “screen” him a little. Well, neither of us could have anticipated what happened next - I ended up INVITING him TO SPEAK!

His name is Tim Mai and Tim had trained his “army” of 14 virtual assistants to handle almost EVERY portion of his wholesaling business. He even mentioned that he hasn’t talked to a buyer or seller for his wholesale deals in almost 3 YEARS! How’s that for automating your business? As a matter of fact, he runs 3 successful businesses with only 1 hour of involvement per week!

And he said the entire secret was having his processes clearly defined so that he just hands the task off to someone who follows Tim’s instructions on how to carry out a task. Now don’t discouraged if it sounds like a lot of work to get to where he is. Remember, all you have to do is buy someone else’s system and piggyback off of what they have already done. Heck, when I got started outsourcing some of my Real Estate related tasks I pulled out Larry Goins’ Ultimate Buying Machine and told my virtual assistants to do exactly what Larry was instructing me to do. Remember, we are looking at ways to work SMARTER so always find a way to leverage the efforts of others. Now, on to the EXIT STRATEGY:

Chpt 2 - Dominating Local Search

Did you know that you could DOMINATE your market for as little as a couple of grand each month? For me, one of the biggest take aways from the entire Virtual Real Estate Investing event was from RehabList president Mike Collins.

Mike and Bruce Prokopets (his PPC guy) got on stage and showed us how we could DOMINATE the real estate related search engine traffic for LESS than it would cost you to run 1 billboard! They call it “Internet Bandit Signs”, but it’s much more powerful than the name implies. And I can GUARANTEE your competition has no clue about this ad strategy!

Mike and Bruce are the only people in the country who are talking about this stuff! You should really watch the videos they created to see how EASY it is for you to start implement local search as a major part of your real estate marketing to buy or sell.

I left the event with his new DVD series, popped in the firts disc and before it was finished I had a clear idea of EXACTLY what i needed to do in order to take over the real estate related search terms for the markets I work. Believe me, this stuff is EASY … but because no one has really caught on to this strategy it leaves you with practically NO competition in the search engines! See what I mean:

Man, those speakers came out and rocked! Everyone there knew it and got a real treat. EVERY speaker got votes!

Cris’s talk at the seminar focused on how an investor breaks into “virtual” investing, so that was very helpful for the attendees who haven’t yet done a virtual deal.

He also talked about how he determines which markets are best suited for doing virtual wholesaling. The best part of both of his presentations was how detailed his presentation was. We all know that we’re really in the marketing business, but marketing only works if you TRACK your results and Cris gave us plenty of real stats and NO FLUFF.

I think that it’s appropriate that our first post is one that tells of the success we had at the FIRST EVER Virtual Real Estate Investing Seminar! With the event wrapped up we have been able to look back at all the hard work that went into putting it on and can honestly say we did a KICK ASS job.
