On Monday April 21st at 900pm EST, you are going to have a very rare opportunity to have Cris Chico manage the implementation of the most responsive Real Estate investing method on the market today.

You may have gotten an email from me last week talking about how I was overwhelmed with motivated seller leads from a small Virtual Wholesaling campaign I had launched in Texas. The savvier readers started responding to my email with one burning question … “How can I get the same results?”. Well, this video will explain everything you need to know to do just that - simultaneously build a rabid buyers list and generate overwhelming amounts of motivated wholesale deals and leverage technology to manage 90% of the work for you (and use Virtual Assistants to do the other 10%)!

Twitter With Me!
27 March 2008

There is a LOT of technology and applications that I think are frivilous … meant for people who live in the bubble of Silicon Valley. One of those applications in particular was Twitter (see below) but after meeting a lot of really cool tech types during SXSW Interactive a few weeks agon here in Austin, I decided to give it a try and LOVE it. So, if you give a damn about what I am doing throughout my life, you can now get a sneak peek - but let me WARN you: I am not going to sterilize my posts just because we know each other through business. As a matter of fact, I think it is important that you know the kind of guy you are doing business with and following me on Twitter may reveal some insight into the mind of a genius (no really, the IQ tests show it!).

If, after watching the video below you decide you want to see just what theheck I do when I’m NOT blogging, managing my virtual team, marketing to sellers/buyers, planning the next VIS, etc then create an acct there and follow “doctordaigle” (that”s me).

If you haven’t read “The 4-Hour Workweek” by Tim Ferriss, you need to
leave your computer behind and SPRINT to the nearest Borders to get
a copy. And while you’re at it, stop by the EasyHUD Library and listen to
the interview we did with Tim a few months ago …

He explains how you can automate and outsource nearly every aspect of
your business, freeing up your time so you can spend it with your family,
travel, or pursue other passions.

This is exactly what “virtual investing” is all about.  Leveraging the
power of the Internet to invest anywhere in the country, automate your
processes, and outsource as much of your investment business as possible
so you have more time to do what’s most important to you.

This will be the new paradigm in American business – not just real estate
investing – in about 10 years.  We are at the forefront of this transition
right now and you NEED to be on board!

This Wednesday at 9pm EST, we’ll have Andy Proper guest speaking on our call.
He’s one of the creators of the Teamwork Lead System, a lead generation and
management strategy that is quickly becoming a standard in the virtual real
estate investing model!  His system allows you to launch a bird dog army in
a market 1,000 miles away just as easily as if it were your own backyard.

He’ll explain how he has outsourced and automated his lead generation,
allowing him to focus on analyzing deals, making offers, and spending more
time with his family.

And he’s actually saved thousands of marketing dollars by doing so!

Trust me, you do not want to miss this!

Are YOU living a 4-hour workweek yet??  If not, the Teamwork Lead System
is a tremendous step in that direction.  Register using the following link
and be on the phone this Thursday!

As we get closer to the Virtual Investing Seminar (Feb 28 - Mar 2), I thought it would be appropriate for me to help everyone start to get some momentum in their Virtual Real Estate Iinvesting (whether you are attending the seminar or not).

So, when someone mentions internet “real estate” they are talking about your URL (aka Domain Name). This is your “home” on the web. It is essentially your address so if someone wants to find out what you have for sale, who you are, hear some testimonials from clients, etc they have to know where to go. And if you don’t have a domain name yet you’d better hurry  - they are getting snapped up like crazy and a lot of the good “addresses” will be gone in the next 12 months!

Luckily, I created this short video to explain exactly what YOU need to do to get some internet “real estate” ASAP:

EasyHUD in Times Square

Greetings from Times Square!

I don’t know what rock I’ve been hiding under, but I’m glad that Mike Collins of RehabList.com told me about the Inman Real Estate Connect Conference! This conference has a tagline of “Where Real Estate Meets Technology” which gave me a hint that this was the perfect place for someone (like me) who is interested in the rapidly growing trend of Virtual Real Estate Investing.

The reason I haven’t heard of this conference is because it is more taiored to Realtors and those who service the more traditional Real Estate paradigm. I’ve been networking like crazy but haven’t yet found another “creative” real estate investor which is indicative of the fact that there just isn’t really much knowledge exchange between our world and their world.

On the first day of the event, I picked up some incredible insight into how this camp is using blogs to build buyers lists, sell properties, to brand themselves and to disseminate news on the various markets the bloggers are familiar with. My biggest takeaway from that session was that realtors are becoming more tech savvy and I’m surprised how quickly they are embracing new technology and how they are finding ways to use technology to MAKE MORE MONEY. No offense to you if you are a realtor, but I kinda always looked at realtors as if they just didn’t “get it” and that we creative real estate investors were on the cutting edge, employing the smartest strategies and leaving the realtors in the dust when it came to dollars earned per transaction.

Well, these guys aren’t the dinosaurs I had imagined.

This is the 12th (!!) year that this conference has been going on and there are probably 1000+ attednees here. They have some HUGE names in the tech world here to speak (Craig Newmark, founder of CraigsList.com for example) and some HUGE names in the traditional RE world as well. How come nothing like this exists for US? I mean, if you go to a huge event like this in the creative real estate world it is more than likely a “customer appreciation” event which is just a kind way of calling it a PITCH FEST. Let’s get real folks - I know we are in this business to make money but it’s time for us to bring creative real estate training/education into the 21st century and really focus on delivering VALUE to the attendees and students of our events.

That’s just my 2-cents’ worth and I can guarantee that the Virtual Investing Seminar series is going to give you 10x more value than you’ve paid for. Get fed up with the BS that these “gurus” are trying to shove down your throat and DEMAND that they take your success as seriously as YOU do.

Cris Chico - His Virtual Wholesaling training will have you investing in Real Estate virtually in as little as a week, and his popular "Absentee Owner Profits" training is an EXCELLENT introduction to a simple but proven direct mail campaign that has helped Cris earn over $1.5 million in profit over the past 18 months …

Preston Ely - the best $50 investment you’ll EVER make!

Mike Collins - The "granddaddy" of using the internet to make a bundle in real estate. Mike is the owner of the wildly successful lead generation service RehabList.com and author of some of the better real estate training courses. Besides my events, this is the only other "pitch free" seminar available. Watch this video to hear directly from Mike

Andy Proper - This laid back Hawaiian cat came up with a truly passive method for building an army of birddogs with some simple, free ads. Within 30 minutes of buying his program I was given a custom built website and had my first free ad up. I ended up with over 25 birddogs in the FIRST 24 HOURS!

Financial Health Coach - If you haven’t gotten their FREE home study course yet, you must be crazy. I love these guys because they give away sooo much excellent info to the EasyHUD community. These are the most humble multimillionaires I know ;)

Cory Boatright - If you haven’t been to the EasyHUD forums then you are really missing out. I can say this because Cory is one of our moderators and he really lives by his personal motto "serve others better". His selflessness shines through in each and every one of his training programs (His complete program , his FREE breakthrough work on using Land Trusts for simultaneous closings, and his insider interview with Mrs "X", a BPO agent).

Jeremy Roberts - What can I say? Jeremy "Mr Clean" Roberts is my personal credit coach. This FREE interview with Jeremy will make you shake your head in disbelief when you find out how we are getting SCREWED by credit reporting bureaus and how by knowing this you are able to beat them at their own game!

I got an email this morning from Cory Boatright (EasyHUD forum moderator and Short Sale expert) that has a killer resource for Real Estate Investors. Most of us have used Zillow in to help us perform some basic due diligence on properties but the common complaint is that Zillow isn’t terribly accurate … but hey, what other options did we have?

Now, Cory has shared a resource that has helped his team and it looks like it provides waaaaay better comps. Read all about it at Cory’s Blog!

At my core, I am a Creative Real Estate Investor. I have been a student of these investing strategies for almost 8 years now and I have seen our industry really come a long way, especially in the past year. More and more investors are "getting" the internet and technology and are actually seeing ROI from their tech-driven endeavors in their RE business. One of the most frequently used tech tools being used by Real Estate investors (besides websites) is PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising. If you are unfamiliar with PPC, you should GET familiar.

Recently, at the first Virtual Investing Seminar, we devoted almost a full day to PPC training and strategies for REI. It was very well received and will be a part of VIS2 to be held in New Orleans, Feb 29-Mar 2. In the meantime, watch this video to hear what Google sees for Real Estate PPC advertising considering the current drastic downturn in the market:

Video Sells Homes?
12 December 2007

I had the pleasure of talking at length to Justin Tupper today. You’ve probably never heard of Justin (yet) but this is one smart cat. While most investors are scrambling for an exit strategy that works, Justin has been blowin away his competition in South Carolina. He has NO PROBLEM selling houses, and frequently moves his property within 6 weeks. Amazing, isn’t it?

Here’s the secret …

Justin contributes a large part of his selling success to virtual investing methods. Want to see what I’m talking about? Just go to YouTube and search for "Justin Tupper". In only 9 short months, this little strategy has created a "viral" word-of-mouth campaign that costs him NO money but brings in so many leads that he frequently says "no thanks" to deals.

Here’s a spin on the idea:

Hope this gives you some ideas …

Chris
